Community/Church Violent Incident Readiness Seminar
Holy Trinity hosted a training seminar on Violent Incident Readiness for local church elders and staff on Thursday, February 22 from 6-8 p.m. The training was provided by the Georgetown Police Department on the prevention, recognition and response of violent acts. There were representatives of 8 local churches in attendance. Videos of violent acts in schools and churches were shown and the police emphasized how critical it is that we recognize potential danger and know how to respond. We appreciate Police Chief Michael Bosse, Sgt. Darin Allgood, Lt. Jon Noel and Officer Mitchell Lair for organizing this event and providing information on the importance of prevention and protection in our church.
